Betty Nell Chambers

September 2, 1937 – June 23, 2021

Betty Nell Leteff Chambers was born September 2, 1937 and went to be with her Lord on June 23, 2021. She was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Joseph Cornelius, Sr. and Myrtle Lee Leteff. She has been known all of her life to have never met a stranger. She worked at Pasadena General Hospital for about 25 years and prior to that at Leisure's Dining Room.

Betty lived with her oldest daughter at the time of her death and prior to that time with her middle daughter for over twenty years. Betty Nell was the oldest of eighteen children and I'm sure was called upon to help raise each one of them. She leaves behind her children, Joe Chambers and his wife Debbie, Betty Chambers Gallardo and her husband Joe, Donald Chambers and his wife Jody, Suzie Wilson Smith and her husband Shane; her grandchildren, Annette Rodriguez and husband Daniel, Carl Chambers and wife Heather, Daniel Chambers and his wife Leezet, John Waddell and wife Sara, Tim Waddell and wife Tara, Brian Chambers and Brittany Chambers, along with numerous great grandchildren. She also leaves behind six of her siblings, Joe Leteff, Jr., Paul Leteff, Roy Leteff, Jo Demann, Bobbie Wolford, and Billie Steyer.

Betty is preceded in death by her daughter Elizabeth Diane Chambers, along with both of her parents and eight of her siblings.
