Maria "Mona" Simona Salinas took her final breath, surrounded by her loved ones on Saturday, June 19, 2021, in Houston Texas. Maria was born in Mexico on October 19, 1960.
Maria is survived by her husband Domingo R. Salinas, son and daughter-in-law Sonny and Monica Salinas, son Robert Salinas, and son and daughter-in-law John and Sulema Salinas; grandchildren Miranda, Madilynn, MacKenzie, and John Anthony Salinas Jr, (JJ); brother and sister-in-law Armando and Adrianna Salinas and family, sister Mercedes Salinas and family, sister Maria Elena Uresti and family, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Gene and Gloria Salinas and family, brother-in-law Fernie and sister-in-law Dorothy Salinas and family, sister-in-law Helen Carpenter and family, sister-in-law Patricia Castaneda and family, sister-in-law Linda Salinas, and sister-in-law Josie Salinas and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, father Noe Gonzalez Salinas and mother Aurora Ayala Gonzalez, sister Maria Ines Uresti and brother-in-law Braulio Rios, brother-in-law Simon Salinas and brother-in-law Justo Pruñeda, father-in-law Gabriel and mother-in-law Maria Salinas, brother-in-law Gabriel Salinas Jr. and brother-in-law Martin Carpenter.
She will always be remembered as a loving and joyful mother and grandmother and for her generosity and determination. She was truly loved by many and will be missed by everyone that loved her!
