Lydia Fay Benes Corcoran passed away on June 17, 2021 at the age of 38. She was born on January 18, 1983 in Wichita, Kansas.

Lydia was preceded in death by her beloved Grammy, Lula Fay Benes, and her Grandad, John P. Benes. She is survived by her husband, Michael Corcoran, her mother, Carol Sue Green, father, Albert Eichelberger, and her children, Sara Lovell and husband Robbie, Corey, Jasmin, Jonny, Meshack, Trey and Zabian. Lydia is also survived by her uncle and aunt, John T. and Terry Benes, her cousin, Travis T. Benes, her aunt Jerilyn Novosad, cousins Kathy B. Winn and Connie B. Smith, and numerous other family members.

Lydia was the owner and operator of a catering and event planning service, and she loved to bake and entertain. She was a cherished member of the Alpha Mu Master Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi sorority and she frequently hosted events for her friends, family, and sorority sisters. She was generous friend, a loving wife and stepmother, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. A Memorial Service will take place in the Alexander Chapel at Cedar Bayou Grace Methodist Church, 2714 Ferry Rd., Baytown, TX 77520, on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at 10:00 AM with Reverend Lou Ann Nolan, DD officiating.
