Patricia Gail O’Bryan Caudill “Trish”, 61, of Baytown, Texas, passed away June 16, 2021.

She was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on September 14, 1959 to James F. O’Bryan and Marie Inez Bogle O’Bryan. Trish was married to David Lynn Caudill for 42 years. They resided in Pottsboro, Texas for most of their married life, spending a few years in Marysville, Ohio, near her husband’s family. They had moved to Baytown two and a half years ago to be close to their two sons and their families.

For most of her career, Trish worked as a Claims Adjuster for Cigna. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW Post # 7873), as well as the American Legion Post 231 and Elks Club in Pottsboro, Texas. She was a very special Nonna to all her grandkids and she rose early each morning to care for five of the youngest while their parents worked. Her passion was music and she had an eclectic selection of artists and genres that were her favorites – Stevie Ray Vaughan, Shawn Phillips, classic rock, blues, as well as newer songs and artists her kids introduced her to.

She loved to two-step with her sons, and would always have to dance with her husband, Dave, every time A Whiter Shade of Pale was played. She and her siblings made special memories at the Juke Joint Festival in Clarksdale, MS a few years ago, where she danced in the street to the Blues. Her 40th birthday was another special music-filled celebration in New Orleans.

She loved the beach, sand and sun – especially Belize, where she visited with her Dad. She had recently felt good enough to enjoy time with her sister and friends at a beach resort in Port Aransas. She loved a Bloody Mary with lots of veggies and Cuba Libres with three squeezes of lime and Coke Zero.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim & Marie O’Bryan, brother James “Little Jimmy” O’Bryan, and granddaughter Haley Beck.

She is survived by her husband, David Caudill; daughter, Brandy Beck & her husband Jamie Beck; son James Dillon “JD” Caudill and his fiancé Larissa Kirk; son Matthew Dylan Caudill & wife Kristy; Grandchildren Nathan Mullett, Damian Beck, Carolyn Beck, Ian Hosford, Charlie Arnold, Korbyn Fowler, Kanaan Pleasants, David James “DJ” Caudill, Rukia Caudill, Ethan Ewton, Autum Ewton, Kirsten Rochester, Dylan Caudill, and Johnathan Hawk; Sister, Ramona and husband Danny Christmas, brother, Jim O’Bryan and wife Carmen, and sister Pam Greene; along with scores of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who all loved her dearly.
