In honor of pop superstar Taylor Swift’s upcoming three-day residency at NRG Stadium, Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo rechristened the venue, per reports from Houston-based media outlets.

“NRG Stadium (Taylor’s Version)” will host the Pennsylvania-born chart-topper’s Eras Tour from Friday through Sunday, Houston CBS affiliate KHOU reported.

Originally a country performer who exploded in the early part of this century, the 33-year-old Swift has since established herself as a ubiquitous, award-winning contemporary hit radio (CHR) staple with earworms like “Shake It Off,” “I Knew You Were Trouble” and “All Too Well.”

Hidalgo’s “(Taylor’s Version)” inclusion is in reference to the singer’s publicized attempt to re-record two of her albums after producer Scooter Braun infamously purchased her master recordings.

“I'm so excited to welcome you back to Harris County this weekend,” the county judge and Houston's purported No. 1 Swiftie, said in a tweet to Swift. “We hope your stay here will be beyond your wildest dreams!”

Per KHOU, Hidalgo, a Democrat, also proclaimed "Taylor Swift The Eras Tour Weekend" in the county.

Houston ABC affiliate KTRK reported that the county judge knew about other places’ efforts to welcome Swift, but asserts Texas’ largest county outdid its counterparts.

"With the name change, I know it’ll never go out of style,” Hidalgo said, harking back to a hit of Swift’s from the previous decade, KTRK reported. “For everyone in Harris County, let’s get ready for it."

Houston Daily reported that The Eras Tour is a retrospective of the singer’s career, which is nearing its 20th year.

Before the tour’s announcement, Swift released a 13-track effort called “Midnights,” which is an apparent return to the past for her.

While tens of thousands of fans are expected at the trio of Bayou City shows, there are fans who won’t be in attendance because of the debacle that occurred when tickets initially went on sale.

Houston NBC affiliate KPRC reported that some Houston-area fans have sought legal action against Live Nation.

“Sitting in line for 10 hours just to see it go on resale for $22,000,” complainant Jenn Landry, of Katy, told the station. “Taylor Swift mentioned that her ticket prices would be from $499 to $899.”
