Houston-based drug testing service Workplace Safety Screenings (WSS) has relocated to its new headquarters at 1130 Westmont Drive, just north of its previous location near the Port of Houston. The company made the transition on June 26, according to a news release.
“As we embark on this exciting new chapter of growth, our relocation to a larger office signifies our commitment to meeting the evolving needs of our client,” Tona Trondsen, WSS’s chief executive officer, said in the release.
The company stressed in the release that despite the move, all of its contact information, including phone numbers, email addresses, and websites, are still the same. The company said state-of-the-art facilities and expertise joined together at the new office, as the facility’s every inch was "meticulously designed to amplify the commitment to ensuring that the client's employees can complete their jobs safely and propel WSS to new frontiers of achievement," the release added.
In other WSS news, Kirk Osborn was named the company's new chief revenue officer about the same time as it moved into the Westmost location.
“WSS is delighted to welcome Kirk Osborn, chief revenue officer,” Trondsen said in the release. “With his experience and proven track record, Kirk brings valuable expertise and leadership. “He will play a pivotal role in driving growth and tailored services for our clients."
According to the company's website, WSS offers assistance in background checks, drug and alcohol screening, and occupational health management. “With our catalog of services, we make health and safety screening, compliance, and management effortless for the companies that partner with us,” the website states.
In the news release. WSS reported that it had marked its 10th anniversary earlier this year, and its has been deemed by a local business publication as one of the fastest-growing businesses in Houston. Its current workforce consists of 30 employees, the company stated.
