Texas Governor Greg Abbott announced Operation Lone Star's successes, including over 33,000 criminal arrests, seizing 426 million fentanyl doses, and relocating thousands of migrants to various U.S. cities since its March launch.

"Mexican cartels take full advantage of Biden's border crisis to traffic drugs, weapons, & people into the U.S. #OperationLoneStar has made over 33,000 criminal arrests & seized over 426 MILLION fentanyl doses," Abbott said. "Texas holds the line against cartel gangs."

In an assertive move against border crime, Texas Governor Greg Abbott has announced significant successes of Operation Lone Star since its launch in March of this year. The operation is a multi-agency effort to curb illegal immigration, drug trafficking, and criminal activities across the Texas-Mexico border.

"Mexican cartels take full advantage of Biden's border crisis to traffic drugs, weapons, & people into the U.S. #OperationLoneStar has made over 33,000 criminal arrests & seized over 426 MILLION fentanyl doses. Texas holds the line against cartel gangs," said Governor Abbott on Twitter, following the release announcing the operation's progress.

Since its inception, Operation Lone Star has made over 33,200 criminal arrests and reported 30,100 felony charges. The apprehension of over 414,000 illegal immigrants demonstrates the operation's effectiveness in managing immigration-related issues. Additionally, Texas law enforcement has seized over 426 million lethal doses of fentanyl during the border mission, reflecting the immense impact of the operation on the fight against drugs.

The press release further pointed to the federal administration, highlighting perceived inadequacies in the immigration and border security policies of President Joe Biden's administration. "Operation Lone Star continues to fill the dangerous gaps created by the Biden Administration's refusal to secure the border. Every individual who is apprehended or arrested and every ounce of drugs seized would have otherwise made their way into communities across Texas and the nation due to President Joe Biden's open border policies," the statement read.
