Beartown Restore Group: ‘We are extremely excited to work with SET's stellar management team’

ServiceMaster Restore, a residential and commercial restoration company, recently announced Beartown Restore Group acquired Houston-based Service Environments of Texas, a ServiceMaster Restore franchise. Beartown Restore Group founder Ian Cahn-Fuller believes this acquisition is a win for all parties involved and will help grow Service Environments of Texas, according to an Aug. 14 release on PR Newswire.

"We believe that ServiceMaster is an incredible brand with a strong position in the growing restoration category. We are extremely excited to work with SET's stellar management team to continue to build the ServiceMaster business in Houston and beyond," Cahn-Fuller said in the release.

Beartown Restore Group is a franchise brand builder company, and they reportedly see this addition of Service Environments of Texas as a vote of confidence in the Restore brand. This is Beartown Restore Group’s third franchise investment, joining European Wax Center and Massage Envy, as the company adds to its portfolio, the release reported.

In this transaction, ServiceMaster Restore will benefit from Beartown Restore Group’s prowess in building brands and business, and Beartown Restore Group will add a good asset to their portfolio, according to the release.

Service Environments of Texas is owned by Brad Hollibaugh, who will maintain an ownership position and support the business in an advisory role. According to the release, Beartown Restore Group is looking “forward to watching the continued growth and success of Service Environments of Texas under BRG's leadership.”

ServiceMaster Restore has about 2,000 franchised and licensed locations around the world that provide restoration services resulting from damage caused by water, fire, smoke or mold. ServiceMaster Restore also owns and operates ServiceMaster Recovery Management, which deals with large-scale commercial catastrophic disasters, the release said.

Beartown Holdings is a business building and operating company that focuses on a few companies to “help them achieve their full potential” with their capital and experience, the release reported.
