Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance will host a walk-around wine tasting Sept. 28 at The Majestic Metro in Houston. Attendees will be able to taste the traveling Paso Robles wines at this tasting tour.
The wine tasting will be held 6-8:30 p.m. and will feature more than 100 wines from more than 20 wineries, according to event details. Admission to this event is $65. The Majestic Metro is located at 911 Preston St., Houston.
The participating wineries include Ancient Peaks Winery, Austin Hope and Treana Tasting Cellar, Bezel from the Cakebread Family, Caliza Winery, Cass Winery, Castoro Cellars, Daou, Derby Wine Estates, Eberle Winery, Fulldraw Vineyard, Hearst Ranch Winery, Graveyard Vineyards, J. Lohr Vineyards and Wines, Justin Vineyards and Winery, Linne Calodo Cellars, McPrice Myers Wines, Opolo Vineyards, Riboli Family Wines, Tablas Creek Vineyard, Tobin James Cellars, Serial Wines, Villa Creek Cellars and Vina Robles Vineyards and Winery, the event details reported.
A wine tasting section is available specifically for wine trade and media people, which will showcase 20 wines and brands from Paso Robles, according to the event information.
Paso Robles Wine Country is located about halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco. According to the website, the region’s climate is “perfect for the production of award-winning premium wines.”
The Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance is a cooperative nonprofit organization composed of several Paso Robles Wine Country wineries, vineyards and related businesses. It is operated by a nine-member board of directors.
“Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance is dedicated to the promotion and protection of Paso Robles Wine Country, and the continuous improvement of the quality of its wines, vineyards and experiences,” according to the website.
The alliance has a set of core values, which they use to guide their direction, ensure quality, be respectful and build a strong community, the website said.
