Houston-based energy services company, Iapetus Infrastructure Services (IIS), has announced the appointment of Tom Sullivan as a senior advisor. The addition of Sullivan to the team is part of Iapetus' efforts to expand its group of utility industry experts.

According to IIS Chief Operating Officer (COO) Tej Singh, Sullivan is highly respected in the vegetation management industry. Singh stated, "Tom Sullivan is one of the giants of the vegetation management industry. We're always looking to add innovators like Tom, who think differently about our industry and seek to challenge the norms."

Sullivan brings with him over 40 years of experience in the electric utility sector. He previously served as the director of the Utility Arborist Association (UAA), an organization based in Forest Lake, Minnesota, that focuses on providing professional utility arboricultural services.

Sullivan's impressive resume includes being a certified arborist and a Massachusetts licensed forester. He has worked as a manager for the Transmission Forestry Department at National Grid and has also served as a project management consultant to other utilities in the northeastern United States.

IIS is known for having a team that features industry pioneers such as Phil Charlton, who is considered a pioneer in Utility Vegetation Management (UVM), and Steve Hallmark, a former leader at the Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD). Singh believes that having trailblazing thought leaders like Sullivan on board allows IIS to provide clients with strategic and innovative solutions that set new standards in the energy and utility landscape across the United States.

According to Sullivan's LinkedIn profile, he holds a bachelor's degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) Syracuse and has also attended Boston University.

Iapetus Infrastructure Services continues to strengthen its team of experts with the addition of Tom Sullivan, further solidifying its position in the energy services industry.
