Founded in 2009, EIV Capital is a Houston, Texas-based private equity firm specializing in providing growth equity to the North American energy industry, as stated in the press release.

Levin brings a wealth of experience to his new position. He previously served as a partner at Ares Management, a managing director at Blackstone, a vice president at Pine Brook Partners, and began his private equity career at Warburg Pincus. In his new role, he will be actively involved in firm strategy and investments across EIV Capital's focus areas, according to his bio provided by EIV Capital.

Patti Melcher, EIV Capital Co-Founder & Managing Partner, expressed her excitement about Levin joining the firm's partnership. She said, "Gary is a very experienced investor, having spent two decades investing across the energy value chain. David Finan, EIV Capital Managing Partner, also praised Levin's appointment, stating, "Gary’s depth of experience and network strengthens our ability to be great partners for the companies we invest in. His added leadership helps us to continue building a best-in-class energy investment manager," according to a press release by EIV Capital.

Levin himself expressed his excitement about joining the EIV Capital team. He said, "EIV’s ability to invest across all facets of the rapidly changing energy industry, combined with a unique organization that prioritizes diverse perspectives throughout the investment process, is what attracted me to the firm. Energy capital markets continue to be inefficient, and EIV is well positioned to capitalize on differentiated opportunities that will be enabled by the global energy transition," according to a press release by EIV Capital.

With the addition of Gary Levin as a Partner, EIV Capital strengthens its team and enhances its ability to provide growth equity to the North American energy industry.
