Nutex Health, a Houston-based for-profit health care services company, has announced that two of its Texas hospitals received accolades in Nov. A press release on Nov. 6 revealed that Fort Smith ER & Hospital was awarded "Silver Best Hospital" in the Best of River Valley awards, and Texarkana Emergency Center & Hospital was named "Best Hospital" in the Texarkana Gazette's 2023 Readers' Choice awards.

"We are extremely proud of the accolades from our partner hospitals,” said Dr. Tom Vo, Nutex’s chairman and CEO. “These awards validate our mission of providing great, concierge level care for the population that we serve.”

According to the company's press release, Nutex attributed the honors to votes from the communities these hospitals serve, recognizing its patient satisfaction and unparalleled emergency care.

Further, Nutex stressed its primary focus on patient care as the key factor why its hospitals are recognized for superior healthcare. The company maintains an operational mentality where patients always come first.

Founded in 2011 as a physician-led, technology-enabled entity, Nutex manages a total of 22 facilities across eight states. Its structure is divided into two parts: a Hospital Division and a Population Health Management Division.
